Gauss Education's competition program is built for students who want to go beyond the classroom — testing their skills against the nation's toughest STEM exams and training with instructors who've qualified for these same competitions themselves. Whether your student is sitting for their first AMC 8 or preparing for USAMO, our instructors provide the structured, problem-set-driven coaching that competition math and science demand.
Mathematics Olympiad Pathway
The clearest path in competition STEM — each exam builds on the last, moving students from early problem-solving fluency toward proof-based, Olympiad-level mathematics. Our instructors, several of whom are AIME and USAMO qualifiers themselves, coach students through every stage of this pathway rather than treating each exam as a one-off.

Computer Science & AI
USACO and USAAIO reward the kind of algorithmic thinking that goes well beyond a typical intro CS class — strong data structures instincts, efficient problem-solving under time pressure, and increasingly, applied machine learning fluency. Our instructors work with students on real competitive programming problem sets, not just theory, so they walk into these exams having already solved problems at that level.

Biology Olympiad
USABO tests a level of depth in molecular biology, genetics, and ecology that most high school coursework doesn't reach, rewarding students who can think like working scientists rather than just recall facts. Our instructors build that foundation through exam-style practice and topic mastery, preparing students for every round of the competition.

From F=MA's first serious mechanics problem sets to the multi-part, research-level questions on USAPhO, this track is where strong physics students sharpen their problem-solving under real exam conditions. USNCO challenges students with chemistry well past the standard high school curriculum, from advanced stoichiometry to lab-based reasoning most students haven't encountered yet.
